Brief description:

The sample project uses the function hexdec() from the 'MICROCHIP project' and assumes that you have
already experience with TESSY. The project in TESSY was adapted to be used with the MPLAB Simulator.
ICD3 and REAL ICD may also be used.

1) Please extract the archive in a folder of your choice (e.g. c:\tessy).
2) Start TESSY 3.0. In the Select Project dialog, please choose Import and 
   select then the ..\tessy\tessy.pdbx (or if Tessy is already open, choose File|Select Project).

3) If the environment editor not starts, please open them from File|Edit Environment... 
   You have to enable the compiler (General - Compiler) and the debugger (General - Targets).
   Please adjust the path for the Compiler.
   
4) Start the MPLAB IDE.
   Select the device dsPIC33EP512MU810 from Configure|Select Device.
   Select MPLAB SIM from Debugger|Select Tool.
   Close the MPLAB IDE (MPLAB is ready for unit testing.
