What’s new in CTE V4.3?
The current version 4.3 of CTE is different from the old CTE:
Can I continue to use my previous CTE files from CTE 3.x in CTE v4.3?
Yes and no, it is possible to open the old files in CTE v4.3. However, it is not possible to make changes to them.
After a change, however, the file can be saved in the new format.
Can I convert files created in CTE V4.3 for use in previous versions?
No, this is not possible.
If I use a Floating License Server (FLS) for TESSY, can I also use it for CTE?
A Razorcat Floating License Server FLS v9.0 or newer can be used for TESSY and CTE. Older FLS are not compatible.
For the CTE, however, a separate license must be purchased.
Can I run several FLS versions for CTE and TESSY in parallel on the same machine?
No. In principle, you can only run one version of FLS.
