Today we can announce a new version of our test tool for the automated testing of embedded software.
Tessy V2.2 improves report generation and advanced stubs functions.
Advanced Stub Functions An enhancement of the stub functions now allows the user to specify values for the parameters and the return value of a stub. These values can be specified by the user in the Test Data Editor (TDE), but different values are required for each test case. Tessy automatically checks if the stub is called by the test object with the specified values, otherwise the test fails.
Enhanced reports This new release adds three new formats for the test reports: Microsoft Word and Excel as well as HTML (with a floating navigation menu). The HTML and Excel reports provide further details on C1 coverage and the number of successful / failed test cases of each test object.
Scripting support for emulators and simulators Using the Usercode Editor of Tessy, script commands for emulators and simulators can be executed at various points in time during the execution of the user application. For example the script language HiSCRIPT from our partner Hitex Systementwicklung GmbH.
