This certificate makes the Tool qualification process a lot easier for Tessy-users. However, the certificate does not lower the responsibility of the user, to complement the overall tool qualification process with addtional action in dependence of the norm and safety requirements (A)SIL.To support the user by his additional qualification Razorcat has added an optional tool called Tool Qualification Package (TQP). This includes test cases and documents. These documents describe the tasks performed by Tessy in the test process and review them in terms of usability in safety critical projects. The test cases are specifically designed to test the relevant tasks relevant to safety critical projects.
The Tessy certificate by TÜV SÜD is the first issue of this certificate corresponding to the final ISO 26262.
