The automotive sector is undergoing fundamental change through the rapid advancement of digitalization, alternative drive concepts, networking of vehicles and infrastructure, and autonomous driving functions. The further development of classical methods and procedures for ensuring the required software quality of safety critical parts no longer meets current automotive requirements. With the opening up of the systems for global networks, new requirements arise for the protection against illegal access and the secrecy of personal data.

From May 30, 2017, the latest ideas and solutions for controlling the reliability and safety of software-based functions in the automotive sector will be discussed in Stuttgart for two days.
