Razorcat presents two new software tools for requirements-based test management and test automation.
Hall 4 / booth 4-338 at the embedded world 2015
With the test platform Integrated Test Environment (ITE) software project managers and test engineers now have easy access to all requirements, test cases, and results for the certification of safety critical systems. Requirements-based tests can be developed, executed and evaluated, with ITE always providing an optimal overview of the complete image of the test process. As a result, self-complex software and hardware test projects are easy to manage in all test levels.
Using the Check Case Definition Language (CCDL) it is now possible to define test cases on system level in a human-readable language. This eliminates the sometimes high effort to program the system tests manually and tests can be created faster and executed on the test system or in a simulation.
In ITE the test results and the test sequence are displayed graphically and enable together with the automatic documentation of the results an effective test evaluation. With the integrated test specification language CCDL, automated test cases can be generated and executed via open interfaces on customer-specific test stands as well as on third-party, like the GAMMA-platform from RST Automation, system test stands.
Requirements can be defined in ITE or imported and exported through various formats for requirements tools, such as IBM Rational DOORS. ITE allows you to define individual test cases or in campaigns, link them to the appropriate requirements and then execute them automatically or manually. These automatically generated documents can be used directly for certifications and assessments.
The verification phase of software projects is considerably facilitated thanks to a powerful change management and the possibility to administrate the test equipment.
In combination with the established unit and integration test tool TESSY, our test tools cover the entire verification path in development processes.
